Encompass Developers

Hire an Encompass developer who's shipped this exact work before

Senior engineers who build on Encompass every day — SDK migrations, Developer Connect APIs, EPC integrations, web input forms, and the custom tooling your lending operation runs on. The developer who scopes your project is the developer who builds it.

Capabilities

What our Encompass developers build

SDK-to-API migration

Legacy plugins, batch automations, and custom forms rebuilt on Developer Connect and Partner Connect before the December 31, 2026 deadline — run in parallel, cut over with zero downtime.

Developer Connect API services

Server-side services on the v3 APIs: OAuth done right, event-driven processing via webhooks, retry logic and monitoring included. The modern replacement for every polling loop you're running.

EPC & third-party integrations

Partner Connect service ordering, CRM and POS sync, pricing engines, DocuSign, data warehouse feeds — Encompass connected to the rest of your stack, bidirectionally.

Web input forms & custom UI

Desktop custom forms recreated for Encompass Web with real field logic, conditional sections, and calculations — tested against your actual loan scenarios.

Business rules & workflow automation

The judgment call that saves budgets: knowing what should be code and what should be native rules or the workflow engine. We build the former and configure the latter.

Rescue & reverse-engineering

Inherited an instance full of undocumented customizations from a developer who left? We map what everything does, document it, and put it on a maintainable footing.

Ways to engage

Project, retainer, or behind your brand

Fixed-scope project

A defined build — a migration, an integration, a set of forms — with a written price and delivery date per component. Weekly working demos, code and docs handed over clean.

Fractional developer capacity

Ongoing senior Encompass engineering on a monthly arrangement — for lenders with a steady stream of work but no case for a full-time platform hire.

White-label & team augmentation

Agencies and LOS admin teams: keep the client relationship, add senior engineering capacity that ships under your flag. Your roadmap, our code.

FAQ

Common questions

What does an Encompass developer actually do?

Anything that requires code against the Encompass platform: migrating legacy SDK plugins and automations to the Developer Connect APIs, building Partner Connect (EPC) integrations, creating web input forms, wiring webhooks and event-driven services, connecting CRMs, POS systems, and pricing engines, and building borrower portals and internal tools that read and write loan data.

Do I need an Encompass developer or an Encompass admin?

If the work lives inside the admin panel — personas, milestones, standard business rules, settings — an admin covers it. The moment the work involves APIs, plugins, custom forms with logic, integrations with outside systems, or the SDK migration, you need a developer. Many projects need both; we can tell you which yours is on a free call.

How do you charge — hourly or fixed scope?

Fixed scope by default. You approve a written price and delivery date per component before we start, and surprises are our problem, not your invoice. For ongoing capacity we also offer a monthly retainer arrangement with a defined scope of coverage.

Can you supplement our existing team or agency?

Yes. We white-label for agencies and work alongside in-house LOS admin teams that need senior Encompass engineering capacity — you keep the client relationship and the roadmap, we ship the code.

Can you take over work from a developer who left?

Yes, and it is one of the most common ways engagements start. We reverse-engineer undocumented plugins, forms, and batch jobs, document what they actually do, and either maintain them or migrate them to the API stack — which is usually the smarter move with the SDK retiring December 31, 2026.
