DocuSign wired into your loan workflow, end to end
Envelopes created from loan events, routed to the right signers, and filed back into the eFolder when executed — automatically. We build the e-sign layer lenders wish came in the box.
What a complete e-sign integration looks like
Event-driven envelope creation
Milestone hit, disclosure generated, condition cleared — Encompass events trigger envelope creation with the right documents and templates, no manual assembly.
Smart signer routing
Borrowers, co-borrowers, non-borrowing spouses, LOs, closers — routing order, authentication, and reminders handled per document type and state requirements.
eFolder round-trip
Executed documents and completion certificates file back to the correct eFolder buckets automatically, with status visible from the loan — not from a separate DocuSign tab.
Status sync & nudges
Sent, viewed, signed, declined — envelope status drives loan-side fields, task queues, and automated borrower reminders so nothing sits unsigned for a week.
Embedded signing
Signing embedded in your borrower portal or intake flow — the borrower never leaves your brand to execute documents.
Legacy flow migration
SDK-era e-sign plumbing rebuilt on Developer Connect + the DocuSign eSignature API before the December 31, 2026 deadline makes it mandatory.
Common questions
Can DocuSign envelopes be triggered automatically from Encompass?
Yes. We build event-driven flows where a milestone, condition, or document-generation event in Encompass automatically creates and sends the right DocuSign envelope to the right signers — with the executed documents and completion status flowing back into the eFolder automatically.
Does the completed document get filed back into the Encompass eFolder?
Yes — that round trip is the point. Executed documents, certificates of completion, and signer audit trails are filed to the correct eFolder document buckets automatically, so post-closing never chases signatures again.
We already use Encompass eSign / another e-sign vendor. Why DocuSign?
Sometimes you shouldn't switch — we'll tell you that. But lenders typically bring us in when they need signing workflows the built-in options can't do: complex routing, external parties, PowerForms, bulk sends, or embedding signing in a borrower portal. We build on whichever e-sign platform fits, DocuSign included.
Can you migrate our legacy DocuSign integration off the SDK?
Yes. E-sign flows wired up through SDK plugins or legacy service ordering are squarely in the December 31, 2026 sunset scope. We rebuild them on Developer Connect webhooks and the DocuSign eSignature API — usually with better status visibility than the original.
